This sub-subseries contains material related to a handful of restoration projects Kimbal was involved with as either architect or advisor. Specifically, there is information about Kimball's role as advisor on the renovation of Carroll Mansion, a historic home owned by Johns Hopkins University; the proposed restoration of Main Street in Andover, Massachusetts commissioned by Francis Garvan on behalf of Phillips Academy; the planning of Woodberry Forest School, located on the original estate of William Madison, brother of President James Madison, with a home designed by Thomas Jefferson; and the renovation of a Y.M.C.A. building in Changsha, China.
