Scope and Contents

This subseries includes correspondence, architectural drawings, research material, and other documentation pertaining to a variety of restoration projects Kimball undertook alone or with the help of his assistant, Erling H. Pedersen. The majority of the projects concern the restoration of Colonial and Early Republic homes, including Dumbarton House, Gunston Hall, Moors End, the Octagon, Stratford Hall, Tryon's Palace, and Carroll Mansion at Homewood.
