This collection contains materials gathered by Richard S. Field during his research for the PMA exhibition, "Silk Screen: History of a Medium," 1972. It includes correspondence with artists and commercial screen printers, photographs, and various publications. It also includes materials orginating from Carl Zigrosser, which was presumably gathered by Field during his research.
