Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

Documentation consists primarily of manuscripts, typescripts, and printed versions of Kimball's various articles related to Thomas Jefferson. Many article files also include some correspondence regarding research and publication of articles; clippings; research notes; illustrations; and galley proofs. There are also a few folders regarding Jeffersonian research topics and one folder of notes for an unpublished film review.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This subseries consists of materials that highlight several aspects of Kimball's private life--from his young ideas on improving the image of the scholar to his choices in automobiles and stocks. Most of the documentation pertains to Kimball's "European travels." Kimball made several overseas trips for a variety of reasons that were often combined into one tour.
