Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The collection consists of photocopied letters, articles, book excerpts, receipts, and prints pertaining to individuals and artists involved with both Mexico and modern printmaking. Many of these resources document correspondence between Mexican artists and Carl Zigrosser. The collection also contains biographical information and researcher notes regarding individuals mentioned in the collection, such as Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, and David Alafro Siqueiros.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: The Violet Oakley Memorial Foundation was organized in 1962 to commemorate the life and works of Violet Oakley in her studio at Cogslea.
