From the back of the file envelope: "This photograph fro Life Magazone was used by S. Alan Chidsey of Great Neck, New York, in an article made into a "book" (PMA Library N686, C 362, 1938). it is accompanied by a quote: 'Pictures should be lived with, not curtained off,' says A.E. Gallatin (whose art embellishes a study hall)"
