Scope and Contents
Photographs of The Village Blacksmith slides, four in color, two in black and white. For an exhibit these form a supplement to the paintings, which were production materials never intended for display. The digital images provide a way of presenting Beale images as they were meant to be seen, large scale, in color, projected, or in large photographic printed blow ups. Also picture of Beale and Word document of Longfellow poem.
