Zadkine, Ossip. Break Up Letters, 1945-1963

This sub-series contains correspondence to and from Carol Janeway. A significant portion of the correspondence is between Janeway and Ossip Zadkine. It chronicles their relationship as well as their break up. It also includes correspondence to and from Ossip Zadkine that Janeway had held onto after their period of living together in the early to mid 1940s. Additional correspondence is between Zadkine, Janeway, and Valentine Prax (former wife of Zadkine). There are also notes and letters from the poet, Ruth Stephan.
