Scope and Contents
This sub-subseries includes correspondence, pamphlets, brochures, reports, and some photographs regarding historic buildings and sites both approved and recommended for NPS support. Of particular note are folders reagrding Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pa; the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis, Missouri; Jamestown, Virginia; the White House; and Thomas Jefferson's birthplace and home, Shadwell and Monticello, both outside of Charlottesville, Virginia.
