The exhibition, "Self-Taught Artists of the 20th Century: An American Anthology," was a major traveling exhibition that premiered at the PMA. Organized by the Museum of American Folk Art in New York, the exhibition featured paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations created by 31 American self-taught artists, including Grandma Moses, Thornton Dial, and Horace Pippin.
