"As Pieces Here to Pieces Join: American Appliqué Quilts, 1800-1900" was an exhibition of nineteenth-century applique quilts, many of them were from the Philadelphia area. A number of the quilts were important works, and a quite a few had never been exhibited before. The exhibition was curated by Dilys E. Blum and Jack L. Lindsey.
