This was the second of three exhibitions sponsored by Philadelphia Art Now, a three-year program funded by The William Penn Foundation to increase the visibility of local artists. Alice Beamesderfer coordinated the juried exhibition, and eligible Philadelphians were encouraged to submit entries.
