The George Eastman House of Rochester, New York organized this exhibition of 168 nineteenth- and twentieth-century photographs from the Miller-Plummer Collection. It later traveled to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Wellesley College Museum. Upon its arrival in Philadelphia, Martha Chahroudi, Assistant Curator of Photographs at the Alfred Stieglitz Center, installed the exhibition in the Prints and Drawings Gallery.
