Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The collection consists of photocopied letters, articles, book excerpts, receipts, and prints pertaining to individuals and artists involved with both Mexico and modern printmaking. Many of these resources document correspondence between Mexican artists and Carl Zigrosser. The collection also contains biographical information and researcher notes regarding individuals mentioned in the collection, such as Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco, and David Alafro Siqueiros.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: This exhibition was the second half of a two-part series co-curated by Ann Percy, Associate Curator of Drawings at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Frank H. Goodyear, Jr., Curator of the Collection at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Together, the curators chose 52 contemporary artists from Philadelphia, and then each institution held exhibitions featuring the work of 26 artists.
