Photographs, 1908-1952, undated

This series is comprised primarily of photographs of the Arensbergs' art collection, including some taken for conservation purposes and while objects were on loan to various exhibitions. Also includes a large number of photographs of art objects offered to the Arensbergs for sale, including some sent to the Arensbergs by Marcel Duchamp, as well as some images of art in other collections and of works sent by the artist. The "Snapshots and portraits," "Louise Arensberg photo albums," and "Residences" subseries are comprised of personal photographs of the Arensbergs, their homes, friends, and pets.
