Scope and Contents
This series is comprised of the Francis Bacon Library's records, including research correspondence; standard forms, such as user registrations and permission to publish requests; and finding aids and file lists for the Library's manuscript and book collections. Also includes some material related to the Library's exhibitions.

Conditions Governing Access
The collection is open for research except for the files in the "Forms" sub-series of the "Library records" series, which are restricted until January 1, 2027. The "Fragile restricted papers" may only be consulted with permission of the Archivist. Preservation photocopies for reference use have been substituted in the main files.
