Scope and Contents
The d'Harnoncourt Family Art Collection contains materials related to the gifts, loans, and appraisals of the private art collections of Anne d'Harnocourt, Joseph Rishel, Rene d'Harnoncourt, and Sara d'Harnoncourt. The collection contains partial restrictions due to the personal identifying information of social security numbers and checks. Many art works were gifted between family members, and co-owned by family members. This collection also contains records of artworks donated to the PMA by the d'Harnoncourt family.
The names of the four family members have been abbreviated as follows: Ad'H as Anne d'Harnocourt, JR as Joseph Rishel, Rd'H as Rene d'Harnoncourt, and S'dH as Sara d'Harnoncourt.
