List of slides lent to Agnes Allen and Eleanor Hesser and identification tag from Edith Emerson's slide case
Scope and Contents
In addition to the lantern slides, various forms of documentation were transferred from the Violet Oakley Foundation to the Museum. This material was found tucked into the boxes, wrapped around slides, and filed between various subject areas within the slide boxes. These items appear to have been produced by Violet Oakley, Edith Emerson, Huger Elliott, and others in their circle. Of special note are letters from women artists from early 1930s, presumably when Emerson was doing research for lectures featuring their works of art.
