Assistant Treasurer's cash report, January-May 1932

 File — Box: 113, Folder: 6

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

All documentation in this sub-subseries offers financial information on a monthly basis. Most folders contain a variety of documents, including cash receipts and disbursement reports, a summary of museum expenditures and income compared with amounts budgeted, operating accounts, and statements of various funds. In addition to the treasurer/assistant treasurer, the museum's bursar apparently generated some of these papers. Many are noted with "LB," which no doubt refers to the museum's bursar at the time, Lilian B. Briggs.

Similar types of financial material appear in several sections of the Kimball Records and are referenced below. It is unclear if the assignment of these documents was original (and therefore represents Kimball's multiple uses of these kinds of papers) or if the arrangement and folder titles were determined during the initial processing. This general arrangement has been maintained.
