Library, 1924-1941, undated
Scope and Contents
The bulk of material in this subseries is correspondence, most of which is between entities outside the museum and PMA's head librarian or related staff. During most of Kimball's tenure, the library and its collections grew (and relocated from Memorial Hall) under the leadership of Paul Vanderbilt. Like the registrar and education departments, the library provided job opportunities sponsored by the WPA and earlier relief programs. The "WPA and other relief programs" series contains that documentation.
