Scope and Contents
This subseries focuses on the museum's administration of its holdings. The first sub-subseries deals with exhibitions in which Kimball planned to showcase collections belonging or loaned to the museum. The "Other object-related topics" subseries deals primarily with general issues, such as the museum's shipping policy or collection plan. Documentation regarding specific objects, collections and artists comprises a separate series, "Object and related topics."

The collection is open for research. Because of its fragile condition, the following item may only be consulted with permission of the Archivist: floor plan with annotations of PMA Gothic installations (in "Objects and related topics" series, "European decorative arts and arms and armor" subseries, "Rooms and architectural elements" sub-subseries, "England. Gothic installations at PMA, incl. Abergavenny, Wales" file).
