Committees, chairs and others, 1922-1954, undated

The bulk of material in this subseries documents the Committee on Museum, one of the three standing committees. R. Sturgis Ingersoll's service on various committees prior to his presidential appointment is also well documented. Several files documenting a few additional committees are included as well. Miscellaneous material noting current and potential committee and board members is filed in the "Administrative issues" series, "Subject" subseries, "Other administrative topics" sub-subseries, in the two folders entitled "Philadelphia Museum of Art." A few items pertaining to the Membership Committee are filed as documentation of the Museum's membership campaign within the "Development and public relations" series.
